Norm Robinson

Norman Robinson has been carving professionally for over 35 years.  He began carving as a hobby in 1982, and in 1989 Norm was named one of the Undiscovered Carvers by the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History at the Museum"s annual bird carving exhibition.  The recognition encouraged him to enter more competitions.  In 1991, two of his carvings won ribbons at the 21st Ward World Championship Wildfowl Carving Competition in Ocean City, MD.   Professional status was soon to follow in 1993, when his work was at the Valley Shore Waterfowlers Competition in Cromwell, CT.  Since then his work has garnered numerous awards in competitions throughout New England.  Norman has also been featured on the cover of Cape Cod Times Magazine.  His work can be found in many private collections, as well as the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History in Brewster MA, the Old Colony Historical Society Museum in Taunton MA, and Spaulding Hospital in Sandwich MA.
