Rita Bernier

Rita Bernier received her BFA in studio art and education from the Emmanuel College and her masters degree from Lesley College.
She also took courses at MA College of Art. She taught high school art for 24 years before retiring to Cape Cod.
Rita has always been inspired by the landscape and light of the Cape. She works in oil, watercolors and pastels and has studied under such well-known artists as Robert Douglas Hunter, Richard McKinley, Doug Dawson, Tim Clark and many others. Rita has won numerous awards for her work both on and off the Cape and her paintings are in many private collections.
